Literature Text

We who are the Third Eye quiver in the light of Fate
Her blanket warms us and the hand she beats us with is cold as ice
We who are the Sight of Destiny view Future in all his glory
Our Eye bleeds to take in such knowledge
We who are the Third Eye watch the wars and peaces pass
Watch them fade, watch the faces downcast
We who are Mystery Unveiled know of what is to come
And wish them to better, but better naught is Mankind
We who are the Spirit Guide call forth to tell Man of his great mistakes
But Man listens to the echo of his own singing, and wallows in his own reflection
We who are the Third Eye shake in fear of what we know
Such powers have we, yet only Time holds power here
We who are the Fates hold the knowledge of the past, present, future in our aging hands
And Father Time bid us not do a thing to aid Man on his perilous path
