Wiccan Wish
If i could make one wish,
And know that it would come true
I'd wish the whole world Wiccan
So you can be a witch too.
I think Wiccans get the best in life,
We also get the worst
But thats because the Christians
Rained upon our faith a curse
Common misconceptions of our faith include
Bloodletting, putting spells on men,
Riding broomsticks, eating children
And consorting with Satan
But on the inside, it's not like that,
Nothing like that at all
We're all a part of an intricate web,
A web thats called the world
We stand in circles and call to us
Energy to love and heal
We thank the lord and lady
For what we get out of this deal
We celebrate all of nature
In an intimate way,
Marking all out Sabbats with
The dark of night and light of day
We see life as a circle
A never ending cycle
In death we see new beginning
Not the start of trouble
If the whole world was Wiccan
More trees would be standing
Greed would almost be nonexistant
And less wars would be starting
Because to us, worldly goods
Almost matter not
They won't follow us to the Summerlands,
The next life or the rest of the lot
So if the world was Wiccan
It'd be a happier place to live
Because Wiccans aren't in it for the take
They're all about the give
Saying goodbye to loved one
Wouldn't be so saddening
Cause we believe in rebirth
In the next life we may be meeting
So yes,
If I could make one wish,
And know that it'd come true
I'd wish everyone was Wiccan
So peace on earth wouldn't be something that we talk about,
It'd be something that we do.
